We got kicked out have a stable job and housing w/ friends but need a co-signer for a car how do we find one?

Even in today's economy it's probably easier to get credit from a bank than to find a stranger who will co-sign for you. If you can't afford $5000 down you might have to settle for whatever you can afford to pay cash for.
