Why do people think defensive style hockey is boring?

ie like the Wild...they allow the least amount of goals and score low too.....do people really need the constant stimulation of an Ovechkin or a Crosby to make a game interesting?? I think defensive hockey is just as intense and good defensive teams usually have more hits and fighting which I think is just as much fun to watch. Don't get me wrong I think high goal scorers are amazing to see but a 1-1 game going into the 3rd is a lot more interesting then a 6-1 game going into the 3rd. What are your thoughts??
