Are there wild sea lions in Devon?

I was at Babbacombe Beach in South Devon. There was a wild seal/sea lion by the quay. It stayed around for hours, watching people and eating fish thrown to it by people fishing on the quay. I'm not sure exactly what animal it was. It was obviously a seal/sea lion, but it's face looked a lot different to a seals. It was very big as well, over 5 foot in length. I thought it must be a sea lion or something but I'm not sure if you even find them in the wild in England. Can anyone help?
