Do Americans consider what the U.S. military is doing in Libya "war"? If not, what is it?

It is only a police action for humanitarian reasons. We are trying to protect the innocent civilians who happen to sitting on most of Libya's European owned pipelines, oil fields and terminals, and the EU armed rebels who are defending these civilians.
