Victorian era sci-fi/fantasy book recommendations?

I've been told that the name given to sci-fi/ fantasy books set in the Victorian era is madcap. I think that genre is really interesting but a little hard to come by, does anyone have any reccomendations? I just recently read clockwork angle by Candra Clare and I really enjoyed it, anything like that would be great, but I'm open to new things. Thanks
